Pro Kabaddi Season 8 – 7 Players you can Expect in Gujarat Giants

Gujarat Giants became part of the Pro Kabaddi League before the 5th season. They became the finalists of the match twice. Even though the team took a two-year break from Kabaddi, but is now all set to join the Pro Kabaddi Season 8. The auction is already over, and here’s the list of the 7 predicted players that will be seen in the Ahemdabad-based franchise.

1. Girish Ernak

Having played 106 Kabaddi matches, Girik was part of Puneri Paltan as left corner defender earlier. Hopefully, Girish’s efforts and his pairing with Ravinder Pahal will bring a victory for Gujarat Giant’s this year. The team bought him at the auction for INR 20 lakhs.

2. Parvesh Bhainswal

Parvesh is retained by Gujarat Giants after his incredible performances in the three seasons. He has 192 tackle points to his name with 11 high 5s. The team had retained him ahead of the auction.

3. Rathan K

Rathan is a debutant for Gujarat Giants. They bought him for 25 lakhs, 2.5 times his base price. This young debutant player is all set to play in the latest edition of the Pro Kabaddi League.

4. Ajay Kumar

With Sonu Jaglan eliminated from the 8th season of Pro Kabaddi, Ajay Kumar is all set to take his position as the third raider of Gujarat Giants. Ajay is as good as Mahendra Rajpur when it comes to attacking. Having scored 183 points as a raider in PKL, Gujarat Giant has a successful raider for 2021.

5. Ravinder Pahal

Signed for 74 Lakhs, Ravinder Pahal is the most expensive player in the Pro Kabaddi League 2021. Pahal is expected to pair with Girish Ernak to form a strong defending team. It will be fun watching these two right and left corner defenders taking the raiders down effortlessly. 

6. Sunil Kumar 

Sunil is another popular player of Gujarat Giants since the team joined PKL. He is going to lead the team this year. Sunil is a right-cover defender with 179 tackle points to his name.

7. Mahendra Rajput

Next up, the raid expert- Mahendra Rajput. He did not play in the seventh season, but this top-performer is all set to make a grand entry for Gujarat Giants in this edition. With 180 raid points to his name collected from 62 Pro Kabaddi Leagues, Mahendra Rajput will give a heroic performance this year.
