Rashid Khan picks his best figures in IPL history 
The spin sensation from Afghanistan was picked by the newly franchise Gujarat Titans at the draft. Before this match, Rashid had figures of 3 for 18 for Sunrisers Hyderabad. He has played key role for GT with both bat and ball.
After being restricted to 144 for 4 by Lucknow Super Giants at MCA Stadium, Pune on 10th May 2022, Rashid Khan created a major impact on the match after Mohsin Khan and Co got the breakthroughs. The leg spinner dismissed Krunal Pandya with a lovely googly stumped by de Kock. Soon after, Khan got rid of Jason Holder to leave LSG on the backfoot. He then got wickets of Deepak Hooda and then Avesh Khan with a review for caught behind.
It was a superb bowling effort by the Afghan sensation. He ended with figures of 4 for 24 in 3.5 overs and helped Gujarat Titans register emphatic 62 runs. Gujarat Titans became the first team during IPL 2022 to qualify for the playoffs stage after their 9th win.
He really troubled the Lucknow Super Giants with his variations and made life tough for the opposition. His performance for Gujarat Titans stood out with 11 wickets from 12 matches at an economy of 6.84 runs per over. During this IPL, he played quickfire cameos against Chennai Super Kings and then producing the magic with a last ball six against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Rashid Khan struggled in few matches but proved his worth during yesterday’s match against Lucknow Super Giants. His performances have been remarkable making life tough for the opposition teams. During this match, Rashid Khan also completed 400 wickets in T20 format.
Rashid Khan has been superb for Gujarat Titans helping them to win matches with his all-round performance. He would be looking to continue his brilliant show in the upcoming 2 matches and the playoff stage.
